Calling teachers and educational staff! Learn about Indigenous history and discuss how to incorporate this information into your classroom. The Galt is hosting a four-day program, joined by Elders and experts, to learn about Blackfoot and Métis history. Topics will include territory, settler relations, treaties, historical figures, protocol, family structure, residential schools, diet and medicine. Hands-on components and classroom-ready materials will be included. For more information call Museum Educator Ashley Henrickson at 403.320-4248.
