Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society will be hosting an evening of Scenes and Songs at the Japanese Garden, Wednesday July 11th. Join us in the Prairie Grass Garden for performances of Shakespeare’s works with a Japanese flavoring. Kimonos will flow, bokutos will be brandished and guests will be transported to islands of Japan. Guests will also enjoy a brief talk by theatre professor Shelley Scott on the Japanese theatre before the performances.
Gates open at 7:30pm, with the evening's entertainment commencing at 8:00pm. Guests are invited to bring a blankets or lawn chairs. Chairs, cushions and benches will also be provided by the Garden.
Admission for the Scenes and Songs performance is $10, and a share of the proceeds will be going to support the wonderfully talented Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society.
